Our mission at nashvillethreesixty.com

Connecting the dots through music. That is the idea behind the site you will come to know as nashvillethreesixty.com. It will never have a physical location because music doesn’t. Where musicians gather, there is music. The roots of that music is in the people, the places, and the journeys they’ve taken. Everyone has a connection to music, inherently, and by choice. Throughout our history, genres have emerged, one from another or the sum of many parts. Our home base for the foundation of this site will be Nashville, Tennessee – the city bold enough to label itself ‘Music City.’ Our mission is to find and tell the stories of the music, the people, and the places connected there. The tag line, ‘Music City And Beyond,’ means our coverage will not be limited to just the players and the places in Nashville. Where the music goes, we intend to follow those back roads and highways to the fans, the venues, and the local business owners who support live music. They, too, are part of the stories we plan to tell.

The germination of this site started with a simple love of music and a passion for writing. Through some connections I was very fortunate to make, I interviewed and later met some Nashville based musicians. They have since become the rock on which this project is being built, as they have supported my efforts and graciously allowed me to tell their stories. Music would not exist without the many talented musicians who dedicate their lives to it. Their names may not always end up on the marquee, but their value is no less than those who do. First and foremost, nashvillethreesixty will always be about the music and the musicians. From there, we’ll connect the dots, and see where it takes us……

Thanks for visiting and supporting nashvillethreesixty!

I am impressed, the writing is wonderful and the stories were so interesting. We came home from a Chicago / EWF concert and were curious about the wonderful new guitar player Jeff Coffey. In only a few links I found your site and the incredible story you had written about this star in the making. You filled in all the blanks in a charming way and in an interesting fact. He comes from the small town of Eustis where my Mom has lived for the last 15 years. You provided information that isn’t really out there, I so enjoyed this story I went on to look at others. Keep up the great work.
